BWA Architecture provided the design to replace the US Coast Guard boathouse at Station Menemsha, which was destroyed by fire. Design of the new boathouse included: a ramp; maintenance bay; shops; offices and restrooms.
The new boathouse was constructed on pilings over the harbor uses low-impact technologies and is very sensitive to its ecological and historical surroundings.
