Salem State University (SSU), ranked the third largest in Massachusetts, is a four-year public higher-education institution on the North Shore of Boston. Building 1 of the 45 buildings on SSU’s five campuses, houses the Bertolon School of Business, a “personalized learning environment.”
BWA Architecture redesigned unused space on the first floor of Building 1. The space, formerly used by SSU’s IT department, features inspired designs for new classrooms, computer labs, offices and a conference room which allows SSU students, faculty and staff appropriate accommodations for learning.
