BWA Architecture worked closely with Dorchester Bay EDC’s property manager, asset manager, resident services staff and residents at Cottage Brook Apartments to rehabilitate its existing ninety-year-old, 147-unit apartment portfolio scattered throughout the North Dorchester and Roxbury neighborhoods of Boston. BWA’s design was based on the Comprehensive Needs Assessment performed in 2013.
BWA replaced existing finishes and fixtures, reconfigured space to provide seven accessible units, adding fire sprinkler systems and repairing heating, plumbing and electrical systems.
