The design respects the very challenging site and the adjacent neighborhood. The site is bounded by wetlands on all sides. The building form and placement on the site minimize the impact on the wetlands. The form also allows for amenity spaces to be located centrally, including a welcoming front entry and an outdoor area that can serve as an extension of the community room. The project is submitting for DHCD One Stop funding in January 2023 with the hope of obtaining funding in the Spring of 2023 and completion in 2025.
